TSO ECOM+
PROJECT
The Second TSO benchmarking project on construction, operation and
maintenance
The European regulators of Austria, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands,
Norway and Sweden have initiated an international project in the
benchmarking of transmission operators for regulation. The first year
of the project resulted in three models, the TSO Charter for
Accountability, the Network Modeling Tool (NMT) and the Efficiency in
Construction, Operations and Maintenance model (ECOM). The latter model
was augmented with additional data from new members and revised to
provide better decision support. This latter project is called ECOM+
and was reported in September 2003. The second round started in
October 2004 and was reported in October 2005. The final and interim reports are
open to project members only.
